What seemed like an easy mission,go in ,eliminate target,get out, turned into a nightmare worthy of a big budget Sci-Fi movie.A great book should make you live the drama that's unfolding,it should take you on a journey and refuse to release you when the journey has ended. It should capture you ,mind body and soul.This story does that,in spades.I was given a taste of my Favourite genres,wrapped up in this magnificent tale. A Medieval fortress,a demon scourge and some futuristic technology. Man oh man,I felt like a child in a candy shoppe!!! And to top it off,the multi talented author,Rod Glenn,gave us an alternative ending (I preferred the alternative ending,it gave me that added punch that made the ending shine brighter than the sun)which was outstanding!!! So,I sit here writing this review ,elated beyond belief,and basking in the euphoria that only great literature can bring,and even though five stars is the highest I can give,know this,five is not nearly enough.
